N2 - In this study, the effects of Reading-Writing and Presentation Technique based on Co-operative Learning on the academic success of the students are searched. The technique is used while studying the unit “The Sytems of the Body” included in the curriculum of “Science and Technology” Lessonf for 7th grade. Before the application of the technique, a “Science and Technology Preliminary Knowledge Test” is apllied to both Experiment and Control Group to make them heteregeneous. At the beginning of the application “Science and Technology Academic Success Test” is applied to Experiment and Control groups as a pre-test. During the application, the unit is studied by using “Reading-Writing and Presentation Technique” of Cooperative Learning by Experiment group. On the other hand, the unit is studied by using the Lecture method by the Control Group. During the application, organization of the units and time is made in the same way for both groups. At the end of the Apllication “Science and Technology Academic Success Test” is applied to both group as a final test. After the statistical analysis of the obtained data, between the successes of the Experiment Group using Cooperative Learning and Control Group using the Lecture Method, a significaiont difference is observed.
