N2  - Encephaloceles are protrusion of meninges, CSF, and brain tissue in the extra calvarial area. The ethmoidal encephalocele is a defect in the lamina cribrosa and is one of the rare causes of rhinorrhea. The diagnosis of encephalocele is made radiologically by showing the bone defect and the sac extending to the ethmoid air cells. In this study, we present a case of ethmoidal encephalocele confused with retention cyst and mucosal thickening in brain CT which causes recurrent rhinorrhea
