Results: In the 3 year time period a total of 62789 adolescents and reproductive period patients (n=5359; %8.5 and n=57430; %91.5, respectively) have recourse to our out-patient clinic. According to the number of admission to out-patient clinic, operation frequency rate in adolescent patients was found lower than reproductive period patients (n=126; %2.4 and n=3601; %6.3; p<0.001). Obstetrical surgical procedure and gynecological surgical procedure was 86.5% and 13.5% respectively in adolescent period patients otherwise this ratio was found 53.3% and 46.7% in reproductive period patients (p<0.001). Cesarean section was the most done surgical procedure in obstetrical operation, and its ratio in adolescence period patients and reproductive age group patients was 52.3% and 81.8%, respectively (p<0.001). In gynecological procedures, ovarian cystectomy was found 58.8% in adolescence period patients and 8.4% in reproductive period patients (p<0.001). Conclusions: Operation ratios are lower in adolescence period patients when compared with reproductive age group patients and also usually obstetrical surgical procedures are done for adolescents UR - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/gutfd/issue//378335 L1 - https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/download/article-file/403703 ER -
