N2  - Temporal arteritis or giant cell arteritis involved with large and medium sized vessels is a chronic vasculitis. It is known that this disease is usually an elderly age disease, and there are headache especially seen on the temporal area, polymyalgia rheumatica as clasical symptoms. However, also, it might raise with another findings. In this article, we presented a case initially considered as the complication of sinusitis, had bilateral peri-orbital eudema and ecchymosis and had acute infection findings. Temporal arteritis was diagnosed after temporal artery biobsy was performed. The reason of presenting this case to emphasize the necessity of taking into consideration the systemic disease for the patients applied with acute infection findings in the head and neck region infections
