N2  - Forming the important input of the economical and social development, the important status in the world’s future of the energy has been increasing every day. Developed countries want to have these energy sources, to produce the energy and also want to control the transmission lines since in these days all over the world fossil fuel consumption has been increasing rapidly in the developing countries. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union the developed countries turned their interest to the energy sources in the Euroasian region.Therefore, many countries and multinational companies started to compete with each other in order to have the authority on the energy production and on the pipelines, which are used to transmit to the world market. In this study, the energy sources and transmission lines of the Turkic Republics in the Euroasian region, and their contributions to the producing countries and to Turkey have been searched. Turkey creates the corridor between these countries and the world market. In this way, first the energy request of the world and developed countries and the importance of the energy sources have been analyzed in general in the Eurasia region and in particular in the Caspian region. Secondly petrol and natural gas reserves, productions and transmission pipelines have been examined. Finally, the detailed information about the energy pipelines, which are being planned to be created in order to transmit the petrol and the natural gas to the international market have been given. The effects of the petrol pipe lines to the economy of Turkey and the Turkic Republics have been discussed. In addition, especially Bakü-Tiflis-Ceyhan petrol pipe line and the pipe lines, which will make Turkey an energy bridge have been searched
