From the qualitative research designs, phenomenology design is used in the study. As sampling type, purposeful sampling is selected. In the purposeful sampling method, more than one sampling strategy was used with maximum variation sampling and snowball sampling was used as strategy. The working group consists of 30 teachers who work in various secondary high schools of the administrative districts of Kadıköy, Ümraniye and Sultanbeyli of the province of Istanbul. The interview method was used as data collection tool and a semi-structured interview form was prepared in line with it. The ethics awareness of teachers who did not have a secondary job was found to be higher than teachers who performed secondary jobs in relation to their profession and those who had a job outside teaching.
