SSS tümörlerinin ayırıcı tanısında anahtar unsurlar, lezyonunlokalizasyonu (intra- veya extra-aksiyel, infra- veya supra-tentoriyal) ilebirlikte hastanın yaşıdır. Multiparametrik MRG tekniklerini (Spektroskopi,Difüzyon Ağırlıklı Görüntüleme, Difüzyon Tensor Görüntüleme, Perfüzyon AğırlıklıGörüntüleme, Fonksiyonel MRG), tümörün mikroskobik ve fonksiyonel davranışına ilişkin(hücresel yoğunluk, neo-vaskularizasyon, kapiller sızıntı ve metabolitler gibi)bilgiler sunar. İleri multiparametrik görüntüleme teknikleri SSS tümörü olanhastaların teşhisi, yönetimi ve takibinde kesin ve güvenilir invaziv olmayanbir yöntem sunar. KW - santral sinir sistemi KW - tümör KW - görüntüleme N2 - Many CentralNerve System (CNS) tumors and even non–tumoral lesions may show a very similarimaging appearance; therefore, routine Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are lack of specificity todifferentiate these lesions. The key points in the differential diagnosis ofCNS tumors are the location of the lesion (intra- or extra-axial, infra- orextra-tentorial) and the age of the patient. Multiparametric MRI techniques(Spectroscopy, Diffusion Weighted Imaging, Diffusion Tensor Imaging, PerfusionWeighted Imaging, Functional MRI) reveal the information about the microscopicand functional behaviors of the tumor (cellular density, neo-vascularization,capillary leakage and metabolites, etc). Advanced multiparametric imaging toolssupport the diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients with CNS tumors asan accurate and reliable noninvasive technique. CR - 1.
