Since the decision maker is included to analysis their view and instinct in the process solution to a problem, this method is preferred according to classical methods. In this study, usage of the AHP method was investigated at the animal husbandry. To create a hierarchical structure, the four different breeds (Holstein, Brown Swiss, Simental and Jersey) with a high milk yield were used.

In this study, it was designed to determine the best milk yield breed from among four different alternative breeds with high milk yield. As a criterion measure in the process selection, a set of environmental factors (age at rst parturition, calving season and lactation period) affecting milk yield was taken into consideration and was consulted to the expert opinion to constitute pairwise matrices. To determine breed with the best milk yield by taking into consideration these opinions, a hierarchical structure with three stages were established. As a result of this structure, While the Holstein had the highest milk yield, the Jersey had the lowest milk yield.

}, number={3}, publisher={Iğdır Üniversitesi}
