N2  - Infections are important causes of morbidity and mortality in neutropenic patients with cancer. Duration of neutropenia and absolute neutrophil  count are important factors affecting infection risk. In febril neutropenic children, mostly seen infectious agents are bacteria. However,  virus, fungus and parasites are also isolated from febril neutropenic patients in less frequency.  In this review, etiologic agents, diagnosis and treatment of febril neutropenia in children are discussed.
