Among participants 86,6% are aware of the cervical cancer, 51,8% know the pap smear. 37,8% of patient declared that the source of their knowledge were the television programs. Inquiring the opinions and attitudes of the participants, 46,1% had no idea about sexual transmission of HPV, 55,4% were unaware of the presence of the HPV vaccine. There was statistically significant correlation between groups who have idea about pap smear and who know HPV (p<0,001) and HPV vaccine (p<0,001). These data suggest that the knowledge level of patients about HPV and screening and prevention of HPV-born genital diseases is not satisfactory..}, number={3}
