Twenty-two patients followed by Infectious Diseases Clinic between February2003-May 2004 were researched. When the complications of diabetes were analysed, neuropathywas found in 18 patients. Methicillin-sensitive S. aureus, methicillin-resistant S. aureus and E. coliwere most frequently detected infectious agents. In conclusion, these patients have to be followedvery well because of the complications of diabetes.
