Although cholesteatomas are almost exclusively seen in the middle ear and at mastoid, in rare cases they occur in the external auditory canal.The co-existence of an osteoma with cholesteatoma in the external auditory canal is extremely rare and only a few cases are reported. In this report we presented a 43 year-old male patient with a cholesteatoma secondary to external auditory canal osteoma.
