N2  - In this research, 2-n-alkly, branche d alkyl an d cycloalkyl substituted oxazolo (4,5-b) pyridine derivatives were synthesized. 12 compouds ha d been prepare d an d 9 of the m were original. These compound s were synthesized by consensing 2-amino-3 - hydroxypyridine with carboxylic acids or acid anhydride s in the presence of polyphosphoric acid or polyphosphoric acid-phosphor pentaoxide mixture . Th e purit y and chemical structures ha d been elucidated by TLC , melting or boiling points and instrumenta l analysis.
