N2  - In this study, founding of the First Pharmaceutical Society of Turkey, the founders and the aims of Society have been investigated from the view of the History of Pharmacy. The founding dates of the Pharmaceutical Associations and Sociétés of developed countries in the west have also been compared with the founding date of the first Pharmaceutical Society in Turkey and the results discussed.
