KW - Kirzner’in Girişimcilik Teorisi KW - Girişimcilik KW - Avusturya İktisat Okulu N2 - One of therepresentatives of the Austrian School of Economics, Kirzner's “EnterprisingDiscovery Theory” was inspired by Mises and Hayek's views on the marketprocess. Hayek’s analysis, which is very common with mainstream economics, hassome problems. Because Hayek assumes that all participants in the market areprice takers. How the prices are determined and how they will come to thebalance again remains as an issue. Kirzner tried to fill this theoretical gapof Hayek using the “EnterprisingPrice Adjustment Theory” developed byMises. In Kirzner's theory, the price taker is the entrepreneur. Entrepreneursperceive changes in economic conditions and exploit incomplete coordinationbetween prices and individual decisions to adapt to new market conditions.Kirzner's entrepreneurial perspective is the disclosure of the economiccoordination process in modern market economies. Therefore, Kirzner's theory ofentrepreneurship in the Austrian School of Economics will be analysed withsimilarities and differences in terms of its contributions to modernentrepreneurship theories.
