N2  - The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of events on SMEs being happened in the period of Basel II. First of all study comes Basel I and Basel II capital adequacy standarts and secondly it is explained the effects of Basel II on SMEs. In the methodology part, a questionnaire has been done on 52 SMEs in Antalya and Isparta cities in order to measure their awareness on Basel II. Study ends with conclusion parts.
