AB  - Sinoviyal sarkom, çoğunlukla genç erişkinlerdesaptanan, hızlı ve ölümcül seyir gösteren çoğunlukla ekstremite eklemlerindenköken alan ve ayrıca baş, boyun, mediasten, kalp, plevra, özofagus ve vulvayıda içeren birçok dokudan da köken alabilen malign bir tümördür. “Malignsinoviyoma” veya “sinoviyoblastik sarkom” isimleri de verilmektedir. Düşmesonrasında çekilen PA akciğer grafisinde saptanan plevral effüzyonungerilememesi üzerine polikliniğimize başvuran 57 yaşındaki kadın hastanın,toraks BT sinde plevral lezyonları olması üzerine torakotomi ile eksizyonuygulanmış, patoloji sonucu plevral sinoviyal sarkoma raporlanmıştır. Plevralsinoviyal sarkomların oldukça nadir görülen tümörler olması sebebiyle sunmayıamaçladık.

N2  - Synovial sarcoma is an uncommon malignant softtissue tumor that occurs primarily in the periarticular parts of extremities ofyoung adults. It can also occur in the mediastinum, heart, pleura, oesophageousand vulvae. It is also known as “malignant synovioma” and “synovioblasticsarcoma”. A 57 years old female patient who had a story of falling admitted toour outpatient clinic for pleural effusion on the chest radiography. Totalexcision was applied for pleural lesions seen on thorax CT examination.Pathology result was reported as synovial sarcoma of the pleura. Here we wantto present a case of a rare tumor, pleural synovial sarcoma.
