The study was designed through qualitative surveymethod. The sample of the research consists of 38 articles. Document analysiswas used as the data collection tool. It was found that most of the articleswere written in 2014 and by two authors, the most common method was qualitativeresearch, the pre-service teachers were frequently chosen as participants andthe most frequently used analysis technique was content analysis. It is amongthe study findings that the concepts expressed through metaphors werepopulously themed  for their function andcharacteristics in the articles. Bu çalışma nitel tarama yöntemi iletasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örnek-lemini 38 makale oluşturmaktadır. Veritoplama tekniği olarak doküman incelemesinden yararlanılmıştır. En fazla sayıdamakalenin 2014 yılında ve iki yazar tarafından yayımlandığı, en sık tercihedilen yönteminin nitel araştırma yöntemi olduğu, öğretmen adaylarının sıklıklaörneklem seçiminde tercih edildiği ve en çok kullanılan analiz yöntemininiçerik analizi olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
