olduğu hakkında kesin bir bilgiye ulaşılamamıştır. İçinde manzumelerin de yer aldığı mensur olarak yazılmış bu eser, Seyyid
Cüneyd ile Reşîde-i Arab arasında başlayan aşkın uzun ve efsanevî maceraya kapı
aralamasından meydana gelmiştir. </span> <span style="font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;"> Hikâye, </span> <span style="font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;">
ahlâkî değerleri ve halk inançlarını öğretme, tarih ve insan sevgisini anlatma
ve benimsetme açısından oldukça zengin bir
içeriğe sahiptir. Hikâyede cin, peri, şeytan, cadı gibi olağanüstü şahıslara yer verildiği gibi dînî ve
tarihî şahsiyetler de hikâyenin kurgu dünyasına dâhil edilir. Fantastik öğelerle süslenmiş bu hikâyenin, meddâh
anlatım tarzının yanı sıra günümüzde
kullanılan bazı anlatım teknikleriyle de işlendiği tespit edilmiştir. </span> <span style="font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;"> Dönemine göre sade bir dille yazılan bu eser, </span> <span style="font-family:’Times New Roman’, serif;">Eski
Anadolu Türkçesinin dil hususiyetlerini barındırmaktadır. Hikâye; deyim,

language in 16 <sup>th </sup> century. There is not definite information about
the writer of this work. This prosaic story in which poems also exist consists
of long and legendary adventure of the love between Seyyid Cüneyd and Reşide-i
Arab. The story has got a substantial content in terms of teaching ethical
values and folk believes, explicating and adopting the love of history and
human. The story involves extraordinary persons such as gin, fairy, devil witch
as well as religious and historical persons. It has been confirmed that the
story adorned with fantastic items which stretch the imagination came into
existence contemporary expression techniques as much as public storyteller
style. This story that has been written in quite simple language in proportion
to period involves the language features of Old Anatolian Turkish. The story
has quite substantial structure in terms of archaic words as well as idiom,
