AB  - Bu çalışma öğretmen adaylarınınmükemmeliyetçilik ve öfke eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkiyi test etmek ve mükemmeliyetçilikve öfke puanlarının cinsiyete ve branşa göre farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığınıaçığa çıkarmak üzere yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya Kamu Personeli Seçme Sınavı’nahazırlanan 87 kadın ve 73 erkek öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Katılanlarınmükemmeliyetçilik puanlarını belirlemek üzere “Çok Boyutlu MükemmeliyetçilikÖlçeği” ve öfke eğilimlerini belirlemek üzere de “Sürekli Öfke-Öfke TarzÖlçeği” uygulanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde Pearson Momentler ÇarpımıKorelasyon Analizi ve bağımsız gruplar için t-testi kullanılmıştır. Korelasyonanalizi sonuçları mükemmeliyetçiliğin “kendine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik” altboyutu ile “öfke kontrol” alt boyutu arasında düşük ancak anlamlı düzeydepozitif; diğerlerine yönelik mükemmeliyetçilik” ile “öfke içte” arasında negatif;“sosyal olarak dayatılan mükemmeliyetçilik” ile “sürekli öfke”, “öfke içte” ve“öfke dışta” alt ölçek puanları arasında da pozitif ilişki olduğuna işaretetmiştir. Ayrıca, bağımsız gruplar için t-testi sonuçları, erkek öğretmenadaylarının öfke içte puanlarının kadın öğretmen adaylarının puanlarına göredaha yüksek olduğunu açığa çıkarmıştır. Sonuç olarak, kişilik özelliklerindenolan mükemmeliyetçiliğin öğretmen adaylarının öfke eğilimlerinietkileyebileceği söylenebilir.

N2  - This study examinedthe relationship between perfectionism and anger states of teacher candidates,and also to reveal whether perfectionism and anger states of teacher candidatesdiffer according to sex and branches. A total of 87 women and 73 men participatedin this study from Mersin who were preparing for examination “Public ServantSelection Test”.  “The MultidimensionalPerfectionism Scale” was used to determine the perfectionism and “The State -Trait Anger Scale” was used to evaluate the anger states of participants.Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Analysis and independent t-test was used todata. Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Analysis results indicated that apositive significant relationship between self oriented perfectionism andanger- control; negative significant relationship between other orientedperfectionism and anger-in; and also positive relationship between sociallyprescribed perfectionism and the anger subscales state anger, anger-in andanger-out. Additionally, independent t-test results revealed that men teachercanditades’ anger-in scores were higher than women’s. In conclusion, it can besaid that the perfectionism as a personality character may affect angerbehaviors of teacher candidates.
