Alkolizmdensadece kullanıcı birey fizyolojik olarak zarar görmez, yanısıra eşi, çocukları,ailesi, ebeveynleri, arkadaşları, iş arkadaşları ve bunun gibi birçok kişipsikolojik ve duygusal yönden olumsuz etkilenir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmaalkolizm veya alkol bağımlılığının aile ve çocuk üzerindeki etkileriniincelemek amacı ile yapılmıştır. Bağımlı bir kişinin varlığı ile birlikte evlilikiçinde beklenen rollerde farklılıklar ortaya çıkar veyeniden yapılanmalar meydana gelir. Aile içerisinde bağımlılığa bağlısorunlar artıkça eşlerdeki psikiyatrik sorunlar artar. Yanısıra ebeveyn alkolbağımlılığı ebeveynlik kalitesini önemli derecede bozarak çocuklar üzerinde birçokolumsuz etki yapabilir. Bağımlılık gelişiminin önlenmesi açısından sağlıklıbireylere hizmet sunan birimlerde(ör; iş yeri, aile sağlığı merkezlerivb.) çalışan sağlık profesyonellerihizmet verdikleri her bireyi ailesiyle birlikte ele alıp, riskli bireyleribelirleyebilir ve danışmanlık hizmetleri sunabilirler. Alcoholism is not only harmful to theindividual user physiologically, but also affects psychologically andemotionally to partners, children, family, parents, friends, colleagues andothers. In this context, this study was conducted with the aim of examining theeffects of alcoholism or alcohol dependence on family and children. Along withthe presence of a addicted person, differences arise in the roles of marriage,and the problems take place. Addiction problems in the family give rise topsychiatric problems in marriage. In addition, parental alcohol addiction canhave many negative effects on children by significantly degrading the qualityof parenting. Health professionals working in units providing services tohealthy people (eg workplace, family health centers, etc.).
