AB  - Hayatta kalmastratejisi kavramı, özellikle 1980’lerin sonu ile birlikte sosyal bilimlerliteratürü içinde oldukça popüler hale gelmiştir. Bu durum, dünyada yaşanılanbirçok gelişme ile yakından ilişkilidir. Yapısal uyum süreçleri ve neo liberalpolitikalar, tüm dünya ekonomilerini doğrudan etkilemiş, sosyal devlet olmaanlayışından giderek uzaklaşılmıştır. Enflasyon oranları artmış ve yoksullukise derinleşmiştir. Bu süreçte sosyal sınıfları giderek korumasız kalmışlardır.Tüm bu gelişmeler, karşısında hane halkı tüm kaynaklarını hayatta kalmak içinkullanmıştır. Kavramın, yoksulluk, dezavantajlı gruplar gibi birçok kavramlaile birlikte anılma sebebi budur. Özellikle azgelişmiş ülkeler ve Doğu’dakiPost Komünist ülkeler ve merkez ülkelerin kendi alt sınıfları bu süreçten enolumsuz ekilenler olmuştur. Bu yüzden hayatta kalma stratejileri ile ilgililiteratür özellikle bu ülkelerin teorisyenlerince geliştirilmiştir. Kavram, buülkelerin ve özellikle de yoksulların bu süreçten nasıl etkilendiğini anlamakiçin de kullanılmıştır. Kavramın, yoksulluk literatürü üzerinden şekillenmesi,geçinme stratejileri, mücadele stratejileri, hane halkı stratejileri gibi birçokkavramla iç içe geçerek kullanılmasını beraberinde getirmiştir. Türkiye’de bualanda verilmiş çalışmalarda da benzer bir durum vardır. Tüm bu kavramlarçoğunlukla birbirinin yerine ve yoksullukla mücadele etmede kullanılanstratejiler anlamında kullanılmaktadır. Hazırlanmışolan bu çalışmanın amacı, kavramın içeriğini incelemek, kavramla ilgililiteratürün yapısal bir analizini yapmaktır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmanın yöntemolarak öncelikle Türkçe ve yabancı literatürü taramıştır. Kavramın literatüriçinde nasıl şekillendiğiniele almıştır. Sonrasında bu alanda yapılmışçalışmalar irdelenmiştir. Çalışmasonucunda kavramın, özellikle yoksullak mücedele sürecinde başvurulan birkavram olduğu görüşmüştür. Yoksulluk temelinde yapılan çalışmalargöstermektedir ki hayatta kalma stratejileri giderek daha bireysel ve haneselbir boyut kazanmaktadır.

N2  - Theconcept of survival strategies has become very popular in the social scienceliterature, especially since the end of the 1980s. This is closely related tomany of developments experienced in the world. Structural adjustment processesand neo-liberal policies have directly affected economies around the world,causing them to move away from the understanding of a social state. Inflation rates have increased and povertyhas deepened. In this process, the social classes have become increasinglyunprotected. In the face of all these developments, all households used theirresources to survive. This is the reason why the concept is understood withmany concepts such as poverty and disadvantaged groups. Especiallyunderdeveloped countries and Post Communist countries in the East and theirsubclasses of central countries are the most adversely affected from theprocess. Therefore, the literature on survival strategies has been developedespecially by the theorists of these countries. The concept has also been usedto understand how these countries, and especially the poor, are affected bythis process. Structuring the concept through the literature of poverty hasbrought together the use of many concepts such as livelihood strategies,struggle strategies, and household strategies. There is a similar situation inthe studies given in this field in Turkey. All these concepts are often used inplace of each other and in the sense of strategies used to struggle againstpoverty. The aim of this work is to examine the concept and to make astructural analysis of the literature on the concept. As a method of the workin this direction, primarily Turkish and foreign literature were searched. Howthe concept was shaped in the literature was questioned. As a result of thestudy, it is seen that the survival strategy is a concept applied especially inthe process of poverty struggle. Studies based on poverty show that survivalstrategies are becoming increasingly indiviadual or household-based.
