This area formed in Roman Imperial times part of the eastern territory of Nicaea as well as the part of the southwestestern territory of Claudioupolis. No. 1 is a dedication to  </span> <span style="font-size:14px;">Zeus Okonenos. The otherwise attested epitheton of the god is of Thracian origin and can be found as toponym ( </span> <span style="font-size:14px;">Ὀκαηνῶν κώ </span> </span> <span lang="de" style="font-size:14px;" xml:lang="de">μ </span> <span lang="de" xml:lang="de"> <span style="font-size:14px;">η </span> <span> <span style="font-size:14px;">) in the area of Taraklı not far from Göynük (INikaia 1201). The new dedication was erected by the Βολειναιων </span> <span style="font-size:14px;">  </span> </span> <span style="font-size:14px;">κώ </span> </span> <span lang="de" style="font-size:14px;" xml:lang="de">μ </span> <span lang="de" xml:lang="de"> <span style="font-size:14px;">η, a toponym unattested so far. No. </span> <span style="font-size:14px;">  </span> <span> <span style="font-size:14px;">2 is the grave stone of Lucius Antonius Longus who obviously had the Roman citizenship.
