AB  - Anneve babayla kurulan duygusal bağlar ve onlardan alınan destek, bireylerin kimlikgelişiminde önemli bir etkiye sahiptir . Bireyin gelişiminde ayrışma vebireyleşme önemli bir yer tutmaktadır.Üniversiteli gençlerin birey olma sürecinde, ayrışma ve bireyleşme sürecinde deneyimlerdengeçmeleri nedeniyle bu dönem önemlidir..Bu çalışma ile Marmara bölgesindebulunan bir üniversitenin 2017- 2018öğretim yılında Eğitim Fakültesinin farklı bölümlerine kayıt yaptıran birincisınıf öğrencilerinin bağlanma ve kişilik özellikleri arasındaki ilişkininincelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu çalışma, betimsel ilişkisel tarama modelinde biraraştırmadır. Beş Faktör Kişilik Ölçeği ve Ebeveyn ve Arkadaşlara BağlanmaEnvanteri (EABE) Kısa Formu ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılar, 196 kadın ve69 erkek olmak üzere toplam 267 kişidir. Örneklemi oluşturan öğrencilerin yaşortalaması 18 dir. Çalışmanın sonucunda, katılımcıların anne ve baba bağlanmaözellikleri ile dışa dönüklük, yumuşak başlılık ve uzlaşabilirlik özelliğiarasında anlamlı ilişki bulunmuştur. Nevrotiklik ile baba bağlanma puanlarıarasında olumsuz yönde düşük anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. Anne/babaya güvenlibağlanma düzeylerinde cinsiyetin, anne öğreniminin ve kardeş sayısının etkiliolduğu görülmüştür.

N2  - The emotional ties with the parents and the support received from themhave an important influence on the personality development of the individual(Disintegration and individualization play an important role in the developmentof the individual. University has an important place in the process of being anindividual for the young people. The young people who leave their family forthe first time have different experiences in the process of separation andindividuation. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship betweenattachment and personality traits of first year students who enrolled indifferent departments of the Faculty of Education at KOU University in the2017-2018 academic year. In this study, the relational screening model which isa descriptive research method was employed. The Big Five Factor inventory andthe scale of psychometric assessment of the Inventory of Parents and PeerAttachment-Short Form were used. Participants are a total of 267 people, 196females and 69 males. The average age of the participants is 18. As a result ofthe study, there was a significant relationship between the participants’parental attachment characteristics and the personality traits such asextroversion, tender mindedness and consociationalism. There was a low negativecorrelation between neuroticism and father attachment scores. Gender, mother'seducation level and number of siblings were found to be effective on the youngpeople's secure attachment to their parents. Support programs about extroversion,self-discipline and consociationalism can be organized for the students with alow level of attachment. In this regard, in the further studies, research aboutdeveloping self-discipline and appropriate coping strategies for those with lowfather attachment can be done.
