N2  - Çıldır province is located in Eastern – Anatolia Region, Ardahan town border and takes place in Çıldır lowland. Çıldır located in a very strategic land, is the junction point of significant roads. It is on the road that links Anatolia to Caucasus. A proper center for animal husbandry with its prairie and grass,  Çıldır settlement’s climate is continental. There is cattle-raising and sheep breeding in Çıldır.Kökten who examined Çıldır region, determined that mentioned settlement’s bonds belong The Neolithic Age and scientists analyzed the region claim that the presence of Cimmerians, Scythians, Kipchaks, Oghuzs and Urartians. One of the majorities of Çıldır settlement is the rock pictures determined today. Çıldır Başköy Rock pictures arec composed of knight, horse, dog and chamois drawings. Rock pictures give us significant data about ancient history. Drawing and painting style of rock pictures contribute our history. Chamois on boards has an important statute in Turkish Culture. It is seen that rock pictures in Middle-Asia has similarities with Anatolia on boards
