The methodology depends on questionnaire that helps todiscover these problems which are facing users in their housing and case studyon contemporary housing for people who has experience of living in two kinds ofhousing: traditional and contemporary housing. The significance of the study isrelated to comprehensively detailed presentation of these issues which affectthe user`s comfort, user`s needs and the cost of living. The main objective isto reduce increasing these problems in future as well as pay attention to thespecialists in the aim to develop environmental, social and economic solutionsfor future housing in hot humid climate. The results of this paper will beuseful for users and specialists as well as author in order to find developmentsustainable solutions in future studies. Bu nedenle bu çalışma, sıcak nemli bölgedekiçağdaş konutlarla ilgili çevresel, sosyal ve ekonomik sorunların ortayaçıkartılmasını amaçlamaktadır. Yöntem, geleneksel ve çağdaş konutlarda konutsakinlerinin karşılaştığı sorunları anlamaya yardımcı olan ve iki tür konuttada yaşama deneyimine sahip kullanıcılara yönelik bir anket çalımasınıiçermektedir. Çalışmanın önemi, kullanıcının rahatını, kullanıcınınihtiyaçlarını ve gelecekte yaşanacak sorunları daha da azaltmak için yaşammaliyetini etkileyen bu konuların kapsamlı bir şekilde sunulmasıdır. Aynızamanda, sıcak nemli iklimde gelecekteki konutlar için çevresel, sosyal veekonomik çözümler geliştirmeyi amaçlayan uzmanlara da yol göstermektedir. Buçalışmanın sonuçları, gelecekteki çalışmalarda sürdürülebilir çözümleri bulmakiçin kullanıcılar ve uzmanlara faydalı olacaktır. CR - Al Sayyed , W.
