N2  - Using the eggs from 8 layer genotypes, the means of Egg weight, Specific gravity, Shape index, Deformation, Fracture Force, Shell stiffness, Shell weight and Shell thickness and the correlations among these traits were determined. With an exception of deformation, there were statistically significant differences (P<0.05) among the genotypes. Phenotypic correlations among the traits of specific gravity, shell thickness, shell weight and shell stiffness were found to be high significant. On the other hand the correlations between egg weight and shape index with shell stiffness were low
