All animals were kept in a semi-confinement type of barn and managed under loose housing conditon. Young bulls were allocated into two groups and each group consisted of 7 and 8 animals. Ech group of animals were slaughtered at 500 and 550 kg. liveweight. During the fattening period the average daily liveweights gains in the groups were determined as 865.8 and 873.1 g .respectively. Feed intakes (Concentrate + hay) were 8.57 and 8.80 kg/kg gain respectively. Dressing percentages in the groups were 54.8 % and 55.8% respectively. Animals slaughtered at 550 kg. had more first quality cuts. It was concludet that the salaughtering weight of Holstein x Native Black young bulls might be increaood to 550 kg. and they were shown a high performance in semi-confinement type of barn and loose housing condition.
