Increasing servicealternatives due to technological improvement and newly born diesaeses and theincrease in the elder population brought competition and alternative treatmentoptions. The ease of communication and transportation brought many factors thataffect tourism in the field of healthcare.In the study, thehealthcare in Turkey and in the world was examined, the types of healthcaretourism and the factors that triggered it were tried to be explained. In theworld and in Turkey healthcare tourism policies, patient statistics fromabroad, number of patients, public and private sector distributions of thesenumbers are summarized in the inventory of health tourism.The data in the worldand Turkey will be analyzed, Swot analysis will be used to determine thesituation for Healthcare tourism, which is of great importance in the world andin Turkey and the results will be given.
