AB  - Türkiye’de üniversite-sanayiişbirliğinin istenilen düzeyde olmaması, uzun yıllardan beri çalışılankonuların başında gelmektedir. Yapılan çalışmaların çoğu üniversitelerinbeklentilerini ve algılarını ele almış ancak sanayi kesiminin üniversite-sanayiişbirliğine yönelik algı ve beklentilerinin üzerinde yeterince durulmamıştır.Bu kapsamda araştırmanın amacı, Samsun’daki sanayi kesimi ile üniversitearasında karşılıklı ve etkin bir ilişki/etkileşim kurabilmesi ve üniversite-sanayiişbirliğinin daha da geliştirilebilmesi için sanayi kesiminin üniversitealgısını belirlemek ve beklentileri hakkında çıkarımlar yapmaktır. Çalışmanınverileri, Samsun’un Tekkeköy ilçesinde faaliyette bulunan 243 sanayicidentoplanmış ve analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, sanayi kesimininüniversiteyi görece olumlu niteliklere sahip olan, ama şehirden ve sanayisektöründen kopuk bir kurum olarak algıladıkları söylenebilir. Yinekatılımcılara göre üniversite ile sanayi sektörü arasındaki ilişkileringeliştirilmeye muhtaç olduğu ve bu konudaki beklentilerinin ise üniversitenin aktifrol alması yönünde olduğu ifade edilebilir. Öte taraftan sanayi kesimikendilerinin de üniversiteye yeterli destek sunmadıkları yönünde bir özeleştiriyaparken; üniversitenin kendilerine ne tür katkılar sunabileceği hususundayeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıklarını da belirtmişlerdir.

N2  - The lack of the desired level of university-industrycooperation in Turkey, is one of the topics being studied for many years. Mostof the work undertaken has addressed the expectations and perceptions of theuniversities, but the industrial sector's perceptions and expectations aboutuniversity-industry cooperation have not been adequately addressed. In thiscontext, the aim of the research is to establish a mutual and effectiverelationship / interaction between the industrial sector in Samsun and theuniversity and to determine the university perception of the industrial sectorand to make inferences about the expectations for the further development ofthe university-industry cooperation. The data of the study were collected andanalyzed by 243 industrialists operating in the district of Tekkeköy in Samsun.According to the results obtained, it can be said that the industrial sectorperceives the university as an institution which has relatively favorablequalities but is disconnected from the city and industrial sector. According tothe participants, it can also be said that the relations between the universityand the industrial sector are in need of improvement, and the expectations inthis direction are that the university is taking an active role. On the otherhand, while the industrial sector is making a self-criticism that they do notprovide adequate support to the university, they also point out that they donot have enough knowledge about what kind of contributions university can offerthem.
