In the Center, Ahmetli, Akhisar, Alasehir, Demirci, Golmarmara, Kirkagaç, Salihli, Sarigol, Saruhanli and Turgutlu districts, 35 thrips species from the Thripidae, Phlaeothripidae and Aeolothripidae families belong to Thysanoptera were detected. <em>Rubiothrips </em> <em>vitis </em>(Priesner), <em>Thrips tabaci </em> Lindeman, <em>Drepanothrips reuteri </em> Uzel, <em>Frankliniella occidentalis </em> (Pergande), <em>Mycterothrips albidicornis </em> (Knechtel), <em>M. tschirkunae </em> (Jachontov), <em>Haplothrips aculeatus </em> Fabricius, <em>H. globiceps </em>(Bagnall), <em>H. reuteri </em> Uzel were the most abundant phytophagous species, whereas <em>Scolothrips longicornis </em> Priesner, <em>Aeolothrips collaris </em> Priesner and <em>A. </em> <em>intermedius </em> Bagnall were the most common predatory species.
