Plant samples were collected from Ankara, Karabük and Mersin. Berlese funnels technique was used to extract the mites from bark and needle. Five oribatid mite species belonging to four families were identified. They are: &lt;em&gt;Acrotritia ardua ardua &lt;/em&gt;(C. L. Koch, 1841) (Euphthiracaridae); &lt;em&gt; Phthiracarus lentulus &lt;/em&gt;(C. L. Koch, 1841), &lt;em&gt;Steganacarus &lt;/em&gt; ( &lt;em&gt;Tropacarus &lt;/em&gt;) &lt;em&gt;patruelis &lt;/em&gt;Niedbala, 1983 (Phthiracaridae); &lt;em&gt;Heminothrus &lt;/em&gt; ( &lt;em&gt;Platynothrus &lt;/em&gt;) &lt;em&gt;peltifer &lt;/em&gt;(C. L. Koch, 1839) (Camisiidae) and &lt;em&gt;Oribatula &lt;/em&gt;( &lt;em&gt;Zygoribatula &lt;/em&gt;) &lt;em&gt; lanceolata &lt;/em&gt; Grobler, Bayram, Cobanoğlu, 2004 (Oribatulidae). &lt;em&gt;P &lt;/em&gt;. &lt;em&gt; lentulus &lt;/em&gt;and &lt;em&gt; H. &lt;/em&gt;( &lt;em&gt;P. &lt;/em&gt;) &lt;em&gt; peltifer &lt;/em&gt;are new records for Turkish fauna.}, number={4}
