N2  - Amaç: Bu çalışmada, tıp öğrencilerinde depresyon, anksiyete ve stres düzeylerinin yaygınlığı araştırılmış, bu değişkenler çeşitli sosyodemografik değişkenlerle karşılaştırılmış ve risk etmenleri ile ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Yöntem: Ankara Üniversite Tıp Fakültesi (AÜTF) öğrencilerinden Ekim 2012 – Mayıs 2013 tarihlerinde tabakalı örneklemeyle seçilen 348 kişi alınmıştır. Katılımcılara sosyodemografik anket ve Depresyon Anksiyete ve Stres Ölçeği (DASS-42) uygulanmıştır. Depresyon, anksiyete, stres ve psikiyatrik destek alma durumlarıyla sosyodemografik değişkenler ve muhtemel risk etmenleriyle ilişkisi araştırılmıştır. Bulgular: Katılımcıların 169’u (%48,6) erkek, 179’u (%51,4) kadındır. DASS-42 puanlarına göre %41’inde depresyon, %45’inde anksiyete ve %40,4’ünde ise stres belirtileri saptanmış, kadın ve erkekler arasında fark saptanmamıştır. Arkadaşlıklarından memnun olmayanlar, dış görünümünden endişeliler veya ekonomik sıkıntı içindeki öğrencilerde depresyon, anksiyete ve stres puanları; akrabalarında psikiyatrik hastalığı olanlarda depresyon puanları yüksektir. Mesleki tatmin için tıp fakültesini tercih edenlerin depresyon ve anksiyete puanları, duygusal ilişkisi olanların depresyon puanları düşüktür. Kadınların psikolojik desteğe erkeklerden gönüllü olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç ve tartışma: Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerinde depresyon, anksiyete ve stres belirtileri yaygındır; sosyal ve ekonomik sorunları olanlar, dış etkilerle tıbbı tercih edenler ve dış görünümünden endişe edenlerde risk fazladır. DASS-42 puanları iki cinsiyette benzer olduğu halde erkekler psikolojik destek almakta gönülsüzdür. Gelecekteki niteliksel çalışmalar ve izlem çalışmaları daha kapsamlı bilgi verecektir.
