AB  - Wereport a 36-year old woman who suffered from massive pulmonary embolism withmultiple thrombogenic risk factors. She was successfully treated with pulmonaryembolectomy. Our report reinforces the importance of early diagnosis in thepresence of a high clinical suspicion for pulmonary embolism. Furthermore,surgical pulmonary embolectomy remains one of the most effective treatmentmethods.
