AB  - Buçalışma, Türkiye’de yaşayan Suriyeli bireylere yönelik olumludeğerlendirmelerin ve yardım niyetinin artmasında etkili olduğu düşünülen bazıdeğişkenleri ele almaktadır. Böylece bu çalışma, gruplararası ilişkilerde ortakiç-grup kimliğinin, dış grubu olumlu değerlendirme ve yardım etme niyetiüzerindeki etkisini sınamaktadır. Çalışmada ayrıca gruplararası temasınsıklığı, kalitesi ve algılanan tehditlerin etkisi de incelenmektedir.Çalışmanın sonuçları gruplararası bir ilişkide daha olumlu sosyal davranışgösterme adına ortak kimliğe işaret eden bir üst kimlik ile bireylerin, Suriyelibireylere yönelik daha işbirlikçi ve sosyal olarak daha sorumlu davranışlargösterdiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca bu ilişki içinde birbiri ile niteliklitemasta bulunulması ve düşük tehdit algısının da etkiyi arttırdığı bulunmuştur.Sosyal kimlik, gruplararası temas ve algılanan tehditler üzerine olan araştırma,Türkiye'deki Suriyeli gruplarla ilgili politikalar için ampirik ve teoriksonuçları tartışmaktadır.

N2  - Thisstudy handles some variables that are thought to be effective on increasingpositive evaluations and help intentions toward Syrian individuals living inTurkey. Thus, the study examines the impact of common in-group identity onpositive evaluation and help intention toward the outgroup in intergrouprelationships. The study also examines the frequency and quality of intergroupcontact and the impact of perceived threats. Study results reveal that individualswill display more cooperative and more socially responsible behaviors towardSyrian individuals with an upper identity referring to a common identity fordisplaying more positive social behaviors in an intergroup relationship.Besides, it has been found that making quality contact with one another in thatrelationship and a lower perceived threat also increase the impact. The study whichexamines social identity, intergroup contact and perceived threats discussesempirical and theoretical results for politics on Syrian groups in Turkey.
