AB  - Prepatellar bursa hematoma isgenerally caused by direct trauma to the anterior aspect of the knee, resultingin extravasation of blood into a normal bursa. Spontaneous prepatellar bursahematoma is an unusual entity. Prepatellar bursitis and septic bursitis are theother common causes of a swollen patellar bursa. Bleeding has been recognizedas the major complication that limits anticoagulant treatment in patients withprosthetic mitral valve. Here, we present a case of spontaneous prepatellarbursa hematoma in a patient with prosthetic heart valve under warfarin sodiumtherapy.

N2  - Prepatellar bursa hematomu genellikledizin ön yüzüne gelen direkt bir travma sonucu normal bursa içine gelişenkanama sonucu oluşur. Spontan prepatellar bursa hematomu çok nadir gözlenen birdurumdur. Prepatellar bursit ve septik bursit patellar bursa şişliklerinindiğer önde gelen nedenleridir. Kanama antikoagülan tedavi altındaki protezmitral kapaklı hastalarda tedaviyi kısıtlayabilen majör bir komplikasyondur.Burada; warfarin sodyum tedavisi altındaki protez mitral kapaklı bir hastadaspontan prepatellar bursa hematomu sunulmaktadır.
