AB  - Lityum; terapötik indeksi çok dar vetoksisite potansiyeli oldukça yüksek bir ilaçtır. Hastaların çoğunda, lityumidame tedavisi esnasında bir dönemde toksisite görülebilir. Kronik kullanımdanatriürez, nefrojenik diabetes insipitus gibi renal yan etkileri olabilirkenakut toksisitede; gastrointestinal, kardiyovasküler ve nörolojik semptomlargörülebilir. Lityum intoksikasyonu tedavisinde amaç, vücuttan toksiniuzaklaştırmaktır. Spesifik bir antidotu yoktur. Tedavide kullanılan yüksekmiktardaki sodyum ve sıvı, lityum atılımını artırır. Hemodiyaliz ise ciddisemptomları özellikle nörolojik semptomları olan hastalarda uygun birseçenektir. Biz bu olgu sunumu ile akut gastrointestinal sistem, renal venöropsikiyatrik semptomları ile gelen lityum intoksikasyonu vakasında hızlısıvı ressüsitasyonu ve hemodiyaliz sonuçlarımızı literatür eşliğinde sunmayıamaçlamaktayız.

N2  - The therapeutic index of lithium isvery narrow and it has an extremely high potential for toxicity. In themajority of patients receiving maintenance lithium treatment, toxicity occursat some period during the treatment process. In chronic use, renal toxicity mayoccur as natriuresis and nephrogenic diabetes insipitus while acute toxicitymay cause gastrointestinal, cardiovascular and neurological symptoms. Thepurpose of lithium intoxication treatment is to remove toxin from the body.There is no specific antidote. The high amount of sodium and fluid used in thetreatment increases lithium excretion. Hemodialysis is an appropriate option inpatients with severe, especially neurological symptoms. In this case report, weaimed to present the results of rapid fluid resuscitation and hemodialysis in alithium intoxication case that presented with acute gastrointestinal, renal andneuropsychiatric symptoms.
