AB  - Jerry Brotton is Professor of Renaissance Studies at Queen Mary University of London.In his recent work Jerry Brotton, as a leading expert in the history of maps and Renaissancecartography, presents the histories of twelve maps belonging to different eras from themystical representations of ancient times to Google Earth. He examines the stories of thesetwelve maps as having important roles in the context of regional and global perspectives ofpast and today's world.
