In the study using a “Pretest-Posttest ControlGroup Design”, an experimental and a control group were formed. The study wascarried out with a total of 12 couples (n=24), 6 in the experimental group and6 in the control group. In the study, “MaritalSatisfaction Scale” was applied to the participants in order to measuretheir marital satisfaction levels. The MaritalRelationships Enrichment Program for Couples in the Period of Transition toParenthood consists of 8 group sessionsand 2 follow-up sessions. According to the findings acquired; it was determinedthat post-test and follow-up test scores of the experimental and controlgroup differed significantly and the couples in the experimental group hadsignificantly higher marital satisfaction levels than those in the controlgroup. The results showed that the maritalrelationships enrichment program is effective on increasing maritalsatisfaction before birth and protecting it after birth. Çalışma deney grubunda 6 çift ve kontrol grubunda 6 çift olmaküzere toplam 12 çift ile (n=24) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, evlilikdoyumu düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla “Evlilik Doyumu Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Ebeveynliğe Geçiş Dönemindeki Evli BireylerinEvlilik İlişkilerini Geliştirme Programı, 8 grup oturumu ve 2 izleme oturumu içermektedir. Elde edilenbulgulara göre; deney ve kontrol gruplarının son test ve izleme testipuanlarının anlamlı ölçüde farklılık gösterdiği, deney grubundaki çiftlerin evlilikdoyumlarının anlamlı ölçüde daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir.
