AB  - Görsel okuryazarlık, göz ve zihin arasındaki bağlantıya gönderme yapan bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Zihin söz konusu olduğunda ise bir dönüşümün varlığından söz etmek mümkün hale gelmektedir. Eğitim de, zihni değiştiren bir olgu olarak tasarlanabilir. Çalışmanın konusunu, bu türden bir bağlantı oluşturmaktadır. Eğitimin, zihin ve buna bağlı olarak görsel alandaki farkındalık düzeyleri üzerinde bir etkisi olup olmadığı, üzerinde yoğunlaşılan temel sorunsaldır. Çalışmada, derinlemesine görüşme tekniği kullanılmış ve bu teknik yardımıyla, eğitim programlarının görsel okuryazarlığa ilişkin yönelimci yorumlama pratiği üzerindeki etkileri incelenmiştir. Farklı alanlarda eğitim alan önlisans düzeyindeki öğrencilere sanatçı Ara Güler'e ait üç farklı fotoğraf gösterilmiş ve öğrencilerin okuma pratikleri üzerinden kimi çıkarımlar elde edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, görsel okuryazarlık yönelimleri üzerinde, alınan eğitim kadar, kişisel yeterlilikler, deneyimleme ve özellikle ilginlik düzeyinin belirleyici olduğu vargısına ulaşılmıştır.

N2  - Visual literacy is a concept how is referring to the connection between eye and mind. When it comes to mindwould be possible to mention the existence of the transformation. Education can be designed as a phenomenonthat changing the mind. A connection of this type constitute the subject of study. The main problematic the focuswas on the mind and consequently on the levels of awareness of the visual field is whether there is an effect ofeducation. In this study, in-depth interview technique was used, examined by means of impact of the educationprograms on visual literacy and the practice of deperatured interpretation. First, is shown in three differentpictures of Ara Güler, to students, they are the associate degree level education in different fields. Then, tried toget some conclusions about students' reading practices. As a result of the study, was found to be the determiningon tendencies of visual literacy as well as education, personal competencies, to experience, the level of-interest.
