N2  - This article analyses the attempts made, since 1986, to maintain thatthe “documents” published in 1920 by Aram Andonian are probably, if notalmost certainly, “authentic”. A systematic checking of the assertions defendingAndonian’s work proves that these attempts are not less misleading than thebook which they support. Andonian’s forgeries served for decades as ajustification for Armenian terrorism
