N2  - Abstract      Since the beginning of mankind, people have been benefitted from nature for solving various problems and meeting needs. Plants, the important components of nature, are used in lots of fields as the treatment and decreasing the symptoms of illnesses to making furniture, cosmetics to nutrition. From time to time, plants that are identified by the characters of mythology, play role in the course of influence of various events. Myths of pre-historic age take great part in understanding and searching these effects. Information about plants from myths, that is interpreted with a society’s beliefs, emotions and imaginations to explain nature events and the universe, will be a guide in this field. In the cover of this study, some medical plants used in treatment along history will be mentioned and some information about their myths will be given.
