KW - Bulaşıcı KW - cilt hastalıkları KW - dermatoloji KW - halk sağlığı N2 - Infectious skin diseasesare common among patients referring to the primary health care providers.Bacterial, fungal and parasitic diseases are more common in developingcountries, while viral diseases are seen in developed countries. The mostcommon bacterial disease is pyodermi and the most common fungal infection issuperficial fungal infections caused by dermotophytes. Herpes simplex virus, Varicella,Molluscum contagiosum, verru are the most common agents among viral diseasesand skabies and pediculosis are also among the common parasitic infectiousdiseases. Early diagnosis of diseases is possible with the recognition ofdermatological findings of the diseases. Knowing the routes of transmissionhelps to prevent the spread of the disease. Appropriate isolation measures areimportant in reducing the transmission of the disease. CR - 1. World Health Organization. (‎2005)‎.
