AB  - Bu çalışmada lise öğrencileri üzerinde uygulanan GenelleştirilmişProblemli İnternet Kullanım Ölçeği 2’nin (Caplan, 2010) Türkçe uyarlamaçalışmasını yaparak geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olup olmadığını sınamakamaçlanmıştır. GPİKÖ 2’nin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışması için araştırmanınçalışma evreni 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’na bağlıAdana ili Yüreğir ve Sarıçam ilçesi sınırları içinde birer lise ve Hatay iliİskenderun ilçesinden bulunan bir lise toplam üç liseden 9, 10, 11 ve 12.sınıfa devam eden kız ve erkek öğrencilerden oluşmuştur. 245 kız, 247 erkektoplam 492 öğrenci çalışma grubuna alınmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğidoğrulayıcı faktör analiziyle (DFA) çözümlenmiştir. DFA sonucunda dört faktörlüyapının iyi uyum değerleri ürettiği görülmüştür. Faktörler arasındakikorelasyon değerleri .12 ile .59 arasında değişmektedir. Ölçeğin ölçütgeçerliliğini sınamak için Kısa Semptom Envanteri Depresyon Alt Ölçeği ve Youngİnternet Bağımlılığı Testi Kısa Formu puanları ile ilişkisine bakılmıştır.GPİKÖ 2 ile depresyon ve internet bağımlılığı arasında pozitif yönde anlamlıilişkiler belirlenmiştir. Alt ölçeklerin Cronbanch Alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı.51 ile .83 arasında değişirken ölçeğintamamına ilişkin Cronbach Alpha iç tutarlık katsayısı .85 bulunmuştur. Sonuçolarak, GPİKÖ 2’nin problemli internet kullanımına yönelik eğiliminbelirlenmesi amacıyla lise öğrencileri üzerinde kullanılabilecek geçerli vegüvenilir bir ölçek olduğu görülmüştür.

N2  - In this study, it was aimed to test the validation of a valid andreliable scale by making the Turkish adaptation study of GeneralizedProblematic Internet Use Scale 2 (Caplan, 2010) applied on high schoolstudents. The study included a simple random sample of 492 adolescentstudents-245 girls and 247 boys -attending ninth, tenth, eleventh and twefth grades, to three different highschools that are obligated to ministry of national education in Hatay and Adanabetween 2017 and 2018 education years. The construct validity of the scale wasanalyzed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). As a result of CFA, it wasobserved that the four-factor structure produced good fit values. Correlationvalues between the factors ranged from .12 to .59. In order to test thecriterion validity of the scale, the relationship between the Brief SymptomInventory Depression Sub-dimension and Young Internet Addiction Test Short Formwas examined. A significant positive correlation was found between GPIUS 2 andinternet addiction and depression. The Cronbanch Alpha internal consistencycoefficient of the subscales ranged from .51 to .83, while the Cronbach Alphainternal consistency coefficient for the whole scale was .85. As a result, itis seen that GPIUS 2 is a valid and reliable scale that can be used on highschool students in order to determine the trend towards problematic internetuse.
