Determining the prevalence and causes of musculoskeletal pain are important for the planning of health services and the development of national guidelines. This study aimed to find the prevalence and causes of musculoskeletal pain in children aged 5 years and older presenting to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation clinic because of musculoskeletal pain.Material and Methods: In this study, the records of children aged 5 years and older consecutively presenting to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation outpatient clinic between November 2014 and May 2015 were retrospectively analyzed. Demographic and clinical characteristics of the patients were recorded. The regions and etiologies of musculoskeletal pain were classified.Results: The study included 147 children with a median age of 14 years [median (range 25% -75%)]; 57.8% were male and 14.3% were obese.
