In addition, exams that are defined as ‚high-stakes tests/testing/assessment‛ which is a new concept in education literature in Turkey and their influences on stakeholders of education is discussed. It is thought that this study, which is a compilation, will inform about the concept of ‚highstakes tests/ testing/ assessment‛ and negative effects of examinations used in education when they are used outside of the intended purpose.
