AB  - Sorumlu turizm kavramı, turistleri tatmin eden, destinasyon çevresini koruyanve/veya geliştiren ve destinasyondaki yöre halkının fayda sağladığı turizm türüolarak tanımlanmaktadır. Sorumlu turizmde bireyler, örgütler ve işletmelerinkendi eylemlerinin yaratacağı etkilerden sorumlu olması beklenmekte,sorumluluk, turizme katılan tüm çıkar gruplarına yüklenmektedir. İlgili alanyazında, sorumlu turizmin özellikle destinasyon bazında yerel ve ulusalyönetimlerin önemli bir role sahip olması gerektiği belirtilmektedir. Buçalışmada, sorumlu turizm bilinci oluşturmada etkin olan İl Kültür ve TurizmMüdürlükleri’nin bu konudaki tutumlarının ve rollerinin tartışılması, sorumluturizm çerçevesinde gerçekleştirilen olası faaliyetlerin ve diğer paydaşlarlayapılan işbirliklerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada, 26müdürlükle yapılandırılmış görüşme gerçekleştirilmiş, elde edilen veriler, paketprogram ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, İl Kültür ve TurizmMüdürlükleri nezdinde, sorumlu turizm kavramının net olarak anlaşılmadığı,kavramın ağırlıklı olarak sürdürülebilir turizm ile benzer anlamda ve hattabirbirinin yerine kullanıldığı, güncel bir yönünün olması göz önüne alındığında,sorumlu turizme yönelik anlayışın henüz olgunlaşmadığı saptanmıştır.

N2  - Responsible tourism is defined as a type of tourism which satisfies tourists,protects and/or develops the destination environment and utilized by the localpeople of the destination. In responsible tourism, it is expected from theindividuals, organizations and businesses to be responsible from their ownactions; the responsibility is loaded to every interest group. In literature, it isstated that the local authorities should have a important role both national andlocal contexts. The aim of the study is to discuss the attitude and role of theprovincial directorate of Culture and Tourism which are responsible to createawareness and to reveal the cooperation with other stakeholders. Though,structured interviews were made with 26 directorates, and the data are analyzedby using statistical program. As a result, the concept of responsible tourism is notclear at the directorate level, the concept is mainly used with and instead ofsustainable tourism. Besides although it is a current issue, the concept is still notefficiently developed.
