Çalışmada Steinernema affine, Steinernema carpocapsae, Steinernema feltiae ve Heterorhabditisbacteriophora’ya ait ülkesel EPN izolatları kullanılmıştır. EPN’ler Türkiye’nin farklı illerindenelde edilmiş, kavun sineği pupaları ise ŞükürlüKöyü (Çınar-Diyarbakır)’nde zarar gören farklı kavun tarlalarından toplanmıştır. Etkinlik denemeleri 12 kuyucuklu plakalarda(plate), 25 oC’de bir kavun sineği pupa/50 ve 100 IJs yoğunluğundayürütülmüştür. Kavun sineği pupalarındaki ölüm oranları nematodinokulasyonundan 7 gün sonra kayıt edilmiştir. Kavun sineği pupalarında nematodtürüne bağlı olarak % 0-32.1 arasında ölüm meydana gelmiştir. Çalışmadan eldeedilen sonuçlara dayanarak, H.bacteriophora’nın kavun sineğinin topraktaki pupalarına karşı etkinliğinindoğa çalışmaları ile belirlenmesinin faydalı olacağı düşünülmektedir. KW - Myiopardalis pardalina KW - entomopatojen nematodlar KW - etkinlik N2 - Inthis study, the efficacy of four local entomopathogenic nematodes (EPNs), Steinernema affine, Steinernema carpocapsae, Steinernemafeltiae and Heterorhabditisbacteriophora, against melon fly (Myiopardalispardalina), was investigated under laboratory conditions. The tested EPNs were collected from different localities in Turkey and the melon flypupae were collected from different, infested melon fields of Şükürlü village, Diyarbakır. The efficacy experiments wereconducted with 2treatments, namely 50 and 100 IJs of each species of EPN, and one melon fly pupa in each well of a12-well plate at 25 °C. The mortalities of melon flypupae, which were recorded 7 days after inoculation with EPNs, ranged from 0.0%to 32.1%, depending on the nematode species. Based on the results of thisstudy, field studies should be conducted to determine the practical effectivenessof the use of H. bacteriophoraagainst the pupae of the melon fly, M.pardalina.
