Students were required to make presentations in PechaKucha format, a fast-paced, time-constrained presentation technique. As part ofthe study, 102 students completed an open-ended survey and a total of 12students representing cohorts from each year participated in semi-structuredfocus group interviews. Thematic data analysis illustrated benefits of usingthe presentation style such as perceived development in speaking,self-confidence, time management and presentation skills, and drawbacksincluding an increase in anxiety, steep learning curve, and constraints due tothe format. In addition, the findingsshowed that English language teacher candidates recognized the technique’spotential and reported a high rate of intention to integrate it into theirfuture language teaching pedagogies. The study is concluded with the discussionof implications for EFL learners, pre-service language teachers, and educatorsin higher education context. Çalışmanınkatılımcılarını 2016 ile 2018 yılları arasında Türkiyedeki bir devletüniversitesinin İngilizce Öğretmenliği bölümünde ileri düzey bir konuşma dersialan öğrenciler oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerden hızlı tempolu ve zaman sınırlamalıbir sunum tekniği olan Pecha Kucha formatını kullanarak sunum yapmalarıistenmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında 102 öğrenci açık uçlu bir anket doldurmuş,farklı yıllarda bu dersi alan öğrencileri temsilen oluşturulan toplam 12öğrenci ise yarı yapılandırılmış odak grup görüşmesinde yer almıştır. Tematikveri analizi, bu sunum tekniğinin konuşma, özgüven, zaman yönetimi ve sunumbecerileri alanlarında pozitif bir gelişime, kaygı düzeyinde artış, zorluöğrenme süreci ve formatın sınırlılıkları gibi hususlarda ise negatif biretkiye sahip olduğunu açığa çıkarmıştır. Bunun yanı sıra, bulgular İngilizceöğretmen adaylarının tekniğin potansiyelinin farkına vardıklarını ve tekniğigelecekteki dil öğretim pedagojilerine dâhil etme konusunda yüksek oranda birniyete sahip olduklarını belirttiklerini göstermiştir.
