AB  - Kursak; kuşların yemek borusu üzerinde bulunan,yiyeceklerin toplandığı şişkin organdır. Bu çalışmanın olgusunu, sokaktabulunarak yediği yiyeceklerin boyun bölgesinden dış ortama akması şikâyeti ileFırat Üniversitesi Hayvan Hastanesi’ne getirilen bir güvercin oluşturdu. Güvercininkursağında nekroz olduğu saptandı. Nekroze olan kursak operatif yolla ekstirpeedildi. Postoperatif muayene ve takiplerde güvercinin sağlık durumunun iyiyegittiği ve sonrasında tamamen iyileştiği tespit edildi.

N2  - The crop is a swollen organwhich is on esophagus of birds and where the food is collected. In this study,our case was a pigeon which was found in the street and brought to the AnimalHospital of Fırat University with the complaint that the food eaten had passedfrom the neck area to the outside. In this pigeon crop's necrosis was detected.The necrotic crop was removed by operative procedure. Postoperative examinationand follow-up showed that the health status of the pigeon improved and healedcompletely.
